On October 10, 2023 the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan  D.Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Turkmenistan Alan Hamson.

On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the head of the national parliament congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high diplomatic post, wishing him success in his noble mission to strengthen friendly relations and fruitful partnership between the two countries.

Also, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan introduced the ambassador with the structure of the Turkmen parliament and its multifaceted work. In this regard, they discussed development of  bilateral parliamentary relations in the future.
